Here is the NHS Improving Quality Newsletter. Long term conditions bulletin.
A big thank you to everyone who has been in touch since we launched this bulletin back in December. We have received lots of positive comments on how useful the publication is and how valuable people across the health and care system are finding the information and resources we share. Please continue to feedback your thoughts including any ways you think we may improve, as well as articles and themes you would like to see in future editions. This month we give you a sneak preview of our new STAR tool, due to be launched soon as part of our rapidly growing portfolio of resources for the Long Term Conditions Improvement Programme. You can read all about how Durham and Darlington CCG are using it in their local care economy, with further insight provided in our new 60 seconds with… column. Early implementer sites from the Long Term Conditions Year of Care Commissioning Programme are continuing to make great strides with the programme. You can come up to speed with their progress with the newly released film, Power of shared information. We are also delighted to announce our first tweet chat on Tuesday 9 June, where we’ll be continuing the conversation of collaboration in the community from our lunch and learn webinar, Manchester Fire and Rescue – Prevention Home Checks. Join us at #WeComsers from 8.00pm to 9.00pm. Finally congratulations to Kent County Council, who has been shortlisted for the HSJ Value in Healthcare Awards 2015. The shortlist is another great achievement of their work with our Long Term Conditions Year of Care Commissioning Programme.
